For me the level 15 commando skill impact has no effect on any zeds.
Commando skill choices let them focus on either being a man of war for the team through improved weapon handling better damage and increased health and armor or by representing a bulletstorm emitting machine gunner esque type of player that delivers a ton of stopping power thanks to extended magazines and better stumbling capabilities.

I m wondering if it s because of a bug or if i m just an idiot and don t know what the effect itself is.
However a good commando can be a powerful force multiplier especially with goo.

The commando may seem to be a straight forward perk and in many ways it is.
Having the medic darts is simply a bonus and the medic assault rifle even without it would still be godly on commando but not worth wave 2 rushing with dosh from your mates if i genuinely decide a scar is needed i will switch off.

For me the level 15 commando skill impact has no effect on any zeds.
Impact rounds can lead to pre mature stumble of big zeds if you want to take them down on your own.
Skills i go rrlll high cap impact tenacious hpr machine gunner.
Old thread but impact is pretty good but not op after i was able to test it.

It can stagger fps and scrakes when you use melee bunt with commando weapons.
